Dr. Ciprian Danielescu works in Department of Ophthalmology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa” (Iasi, Romania) as a Lecturer (Ophthalmology). He received his MD (Faculty of Medicine) and PhD (Ophthalmology) from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy. He is the Guest Editor of the Special Issue "New Advances in Diagnostic and Surgical Treatment of Ocular Diseases" in MDPI. His research interests mainly focus on vitreoretinal surgery, macular diseases, intraocular inflammation, ocular trauma, and intravitreal therapies. His scientific output includes 35 publications, corresponding to 193 citations (h-index 8) (Scopus, 7 December 2023).
