Joanne Dudeney is a research fellow and clinical psychologist within the School of Psychological Sciences at Macquarie University, Australia. Dr. Dudeney also holds an honorary research position with the Pain Research Unit at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick. Dr Dudeney's current research program involves the intersection of physical and mental health in adolescents and young adults with chronic health conditions, such as chronic pain, inflammatory bowel disease, endometriosis, and arthritis.
Tiina Jaaniste is the head of the Pain and Palliative Care Research Team at Sydney Children’s Hospital and is a conjoint associate professor in the School of Clinical Medicine (pediatrics and child health), University of New South Wales, Australia. She has a background in clinical psychology and was awarded her PhD in 2009. She has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications, most in the area of children’s pain or palliative care. She is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and has served as the secretary (2007-2012) and as a council member (2007-2013) of the IASP Special Interest Group for Pain in Childhood.
