Yonatal Tefera is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Adelaide and holds the position of Research-Policy Translation Project Officer at the Centre for HiAP Research Translation (CHiAPRT) based in South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). With a strong academic background in this field, Yonatal possesses expertise in research translation and Environmental and Occupational Health policymaking. His research focuses on understanding the influence of Social, Environmental and Occupational factors on human health and wellbeing. His extensive experience spans across multiple sectors, including research, teaching, consultancy, and project management working with academic institutions, government, and industries. Yonatal's diverse skill set makes him a valuable asset in driving evidence-based solutions, research translation and policymaking efforts.
Veronica Soebarto received her Ph.D. in July 1996 and a master’s of architecture in December 1992 from Texas A&M University. She currently serves as the director of research of the School of Architecture and Built Environment, team leader of the Sustainable Built Environment Research of the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, and research team leader of Green Urban Futures of the Environment Institute. Her research interests span from sustainable design, environmental performance of buildings, thermal comfort, and building energy use to the social dimension of sustainable architecture, particularly in relation to the wellbeing of older people.

John Kandulu is a senior research economist at the School of Economics and Public Policy, Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics, The University of Adelaide. He got his PhD at the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2022. He has over 15 years of work experience as an applied economist in education, not-for-profit, and government sectors focusing on natural resource management policy design and evaluation. He has contributed to projects addressing aid for development programs, policy, program, and project impact evaluation, food and water security, biosecurity, renewable energy policy, outreach services, and water quality management. He applies various analytical techniques to inform policy- and investment decisions, including evaluating the effectiveness of new policy, program, and project options, and the expected net return on prospective investment options. He is familiar with various analytical techniques and software, including cost-benefit analysis, spatial data analysis, econometric analysis, investment risk analysis, optimization, and data visualization. His current research area of interest is the design and evaluation of effective diversity and inclusion policies to inform inclusive natural resource management.
Carmel Williams is a senior lecturer in the School of Public Health in the Faculty of Health and Medical Science and is also the director of the Centre for Health in All Policies Research Translation jointly based at the School of the Public Health University of Adelaide and Health Translation SA, South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute. She is the foundational director for the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Advancing Health in All Policies. She has overseen the establishment and sustainability of South Australia's Health in All Policies approach from its commencement in 2007 until 2021. The approach works across government to influence public policy decisions to improve health, wellbeing, and equity. She has led numerous collaborative projects on the social and environmental determinants of health, drawing research, policy, and practice together to deliver improved public policy outcomes. She works extensively with the WHO and has recently led the development of a new WHO guidance and model: Working together to address equity and healthier populations, the HiAP 4 Pillars Model. In 2023 she earned the full academic status of Associate Professor with the College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University, and has previously been awarded the honorary academic status of associate professor with the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia.
