He is also a commissioner to the President of the Republic of Croatia for sports and youth and a special advisor to the President of the Republic of Croatia for health and sports. He earned a Ph.D. on the topic "Psychological Predictors of Sports Injuries in Professional Football and Handball Players" with a postgraduate doctoral study "Biomedicine and Health" at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb.
