Author Biographies

Milan Lackovic is an ObGyn Specialist at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Hospital “Dragisa Misovic”, Belgrade, Serbia. He completed his MD in Integrated Studies of Medicine, his Ph.D. in Perinatal Medicine, and a Residency Program at the University of Belgrade. Before his current role, he used to work as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident at the University Clinical Centre of Serbia.
Milena Jankovic currently works at the Laboratory for Molecular and Genetic Diagnostics of Neurological Disorders, Neurology Clinic, Clinical Center of Serbia. She is Head of the Laboratory for Molecular and Genetic Diagnostics of Neurological Disorders and a Senior Research Associate at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. She holds a doctoral degree in biology, and her PhD thesis examined the role of genetic aspects of Parkinson’s disease in Serbia. She has more than 15 years of experience in neurogenetics with a special research interest in the genetics of neurodegenerative, neuromuscular, and movement disorders.

Zagorka Milovanovic is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, and a Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics “Narodni Front”, Belgrade, Serbia. She completed her M.Sc. in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at the University of Belgrade. Before her current work, she was a Research Fellow at Kings College Hospital, London, UK.
Dejan Nikolic, MD, PhD, is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade and as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist at the University Children’s Hospital, Belgrade in Serbia. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and holds an International Certificate of Achievement from the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a Senior Research Associate at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade in Serbia. He is the Head of the Clinical Neurophysiology Division at the University Children's Hospital in Belgrade, Serbia, and Head of the Working Group for Neurophysiology at the Serbian Association of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.  He specializes in Neurophysiology, and Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation.
