Nadia Guajardo studied Bioprocess Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Catjlica de Valparaíso (PUCV), Chile. She received her Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from the same university in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at PUCV. Currently, she is a Professor and a Researcher at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). Her research interests include ecofriendly solvents, biocatalysis, and biorefineries. She was the co-founder of IONCHEM, a technological spin-off based on the design and production of functionalized solvents.
