Author Biographies

Somaiya Malik Al Shuraiqi received her Master's degree in Computer Science from Sultan Qaboos University in 2017 and is now pursuing a PhD in Computer Science. She has worked as a system analyst at the College of Medicine (2012–2021). In 2021, she received study leave to complete her education. Her research topics mainly include AI, Machine Learning, NLP, and data mining.
Abdulrahman Khalifa Aal Abdulsalam has been an Assistant Professor at Sultan Qaboos University since 2021. He was an Assistant Professor at the University of Technology and Science from 2018 to 2021, a Postdoc at the Medical University of South Carolina from June 2018 to August 2018, a Research Assistant at the University of Utah from 2014 to 2017 and a Lecturer at the University of Technology and Science from 2007 to 2011. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Utah in 2018, an M.Sc. in Computer Science in 2014 and a BSc. in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham in 2005.
Ken Masters is an Associate Professor of Medical Informatics in the Medical Education and Informatics Department at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He has qualifications from Rhodes University and Stellenbosch University and a Ph.D. from the University of Cape Town. His research interests include teaching and learning, information technology, e-learning, and Artificial Intelligence in education, particularly focusing on ethical issues.
