Dr. Raffaella Colombo is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Drug Sciences, University of Pavia, and a Researcher at the Laboratory of Nutraceutical and Food Chemical Toxicological Analysis. She graduated (2004) and obtained her PhD (2009) in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Pavia. After that, she worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the same department. She is an expert in analytical techniques applied to drugs (quality control/drug discovery), proteins (protein folding/aggregation), and food/natural matrices (food quality/safety).
Prof. Dr. Adele Papetti received her 5-year Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Pavia (Italy) in 1994; a 3-year post-laureate diploma from the Graduate School in Industrial Pharmacy (Higher School of Industrial Pharmacy), University of Pavia in 1998; and a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Pavia in 2001; and a 3-year post-laureate diploma from Formazione Superiore University of Pavia. In 2006, she was an Assistant Professor of Food Chemistry at the University of Pavia. Then, in 2012, she became the Director of the Nutraceutical & Food Chem Toxicol Analysis Laboratory in the Drug Sciences Department of the University of Pavia. Until 2018, she worked as an Associate Professor of Food Chemistry at the University of Pavia. She is a Member of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI) and a Professional Member of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
