Domen Vozel is a medical specialist in otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Cervicofacial Surgery at UMC Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is also a teacher of Otorhinolaryngology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ljubljana, Slovenia, where he teaches otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery to students of medicine and dental medicine. He is specialized in endoscopic sinonasal surgery, skull-base surgery, facial plastic, and reconstructive surgery. He received training in sinonasal and skull-base surgery from renowned reference centers such as Brescia, Italy, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a certified rhinoplasty surgeon by the European College of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery and a regular member of the European Skull Base Society, American Rhinologic Society, and
European Rhinological Society. His research interests include skull-base pathology, autologous regenerative treatment modalities, disease-related quality of life, hearing loss, vertigo, taste pathology, chronic rhinosinusitis, biomarkers in head and neck cancer, extracellular vesicles, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
