Cui Hao received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Macau University of Science and Technology in 2017, and now he is studying for his PhD in Biology at Kunming University of Science and Technology. His research topics mainly include nano-drug delivery systems; panax notoginseng; cell membrane; ischemic stroke.

Ma Sha received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Kunming Medical University in 2023, and now she is majoring in pharmacy at Kunming University of Science and Technology. Her research topics mainly include nano-drug delivery systems; panax notoginseng; cell membrane; liposomes.

Yang Ye received his PhD from the Huazhong Agricultural University in 2006. He works as a Professor at the College of Life Science and Technology, Kunming University of Science and Technology, Kunming, China, (2013 to present). He is mainly engaged in research work on the development and utilization of authentic medicinal material resources in Yunnan. The research content focuses on the problems that urgently need to be solved in the production of traditional Chinese medicinal materials in Yunnan Province, such as excessive heavy metal content, low standardization of planting bases, and backward processing technology in the production areas. His research topics mainly include pharmaceutical engineering.

Chengxiao Wang received his PhD from the East China University of Science and Technology in 2008. He works as a Professor at the Key Laboratory of Sustainable Utilization of Panax Notoginseng Resources of Yunnan, Province, Kunming University of Science and Technology, Kunming, China, (2018 to present). His research topics mainly include ginsenosides; ginseng; Panax quinquefolius.
