Marc Labetoulle is a Professor and has served as Head of the Ophthalmology Department at BicĂȘtre Hospital, Paris-Saclay University, since 2009. His clinical main topics of interest are the inflammatory and/or infectious diseases of the ocular surface, and surgical techniques of the anterior segment of the eye. He is also the leader of a research group at the Center for Immunology of Viral Infections and Autoimmune Diseases (IMVA, CEA, UniversitĂ© Paris Sud, Inserm U1184). He has participated in more than 50 clinical trials (international, randomized, controlled), including 5 as the Principal Investigator. He is the author of more than 220 peer-reviewed publications in international ophthalmic journals.
Moncef Khairallah, MD, is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Monastir, Tunisia. His current research interests include uveitis and medical retina. He is the scientific co-editor of three books on uveitis and has authored more than 200 articles in reputed journals and more than 60 book chapters. He received an Achievement Award (2005) and a Senior Achievement Award (2019) from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has been ranked among the top 2% of World Scientists in the year 2023 by Stanford University.
