Marc Labetoulle is a Professor and has served as Head of the Ophthalmology Department at Bicêtre Hospital, Paris-Saclay University, since 2009. His clinical main topics of interest are the inflammatory and/or infectious diseases of the ocular surface, and surgical techniques of the anterior segment of the eye. He is also the leader of a research group at the Center for Immunology of Viral Infections and Autoimmune Diseases (IMVA, CEA, Université Paris Sud, Inserm U1184). He has participated in more than 50 clinical trials (international, randomized, controlled), including 5 as the Principal Investigator. He is the author of more than 220 peer-reviewed publications in international ophthalmic journals.
Moncef Khairallah, MD, is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Monastir, Tunisia. His current research interests include uveitis and medical retina. He is the scientific co-editor of three books on uveitis and has authored more than 200 articles in reputed journals and more than 60 book chapters. He received an Achievement Award (2005) and a Senior Achievement Award (2019) from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has been ranked among the top 2% of World Scientists in the year 2023 by Stanford University.
