Chiara Imperato is a Research Fellow at the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries, University of Parma, Parma, Italy. She received her Ph.D. degree at the Department of
Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries, University of Parma from 2018-11 to 2022-01. Her research interests include intergroup contact, social psychology, media studies, online prejudice, online discrimination, sexual minorities, ethnic minorities, interpersonal online relationships, and intergroup online relationships.
Alessandro Giardina is a Sicilian Clinical
Psychologist and Researcher specializing in the research and treatment of
adolescent and young adult psychology/psychopathology related to virtual
environments. He is currently a third-year Ph.D. student in Clinical Cyber-Psychology under the
supervision of Joel Billieux at the University of Lausanne. His thesis project
investigates the withdrawal into online games and associated processes, such as
dissociative mechanisms, emotional difficulties and personality patterns.
Tommaso Manari is a PhD student in dynamic psychology at the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries, University of Parma (Italy). His research project regards the psychological correlates related to addictive-like behaviors, with a specific focus on social media and new technologies' dysfunctional uses. His expertise interest is in the areas of Addiction, Addictive Behaviors, Social Media, Internet Addiction, Clinical Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, RStudio, and Attachment Theory.
Christian Franceschini is currently an Associate
Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Department of Medicine and Surgery,
University of Parma, Italy. He is a member of the Interdepartmental Centre for
Sleep Medicine at the University of Parma. He collaborates with the Sleep
Centre of the University of Bologna in research and clinical consultation in
the differential clinical diagnosis of sleep disorders and psychological and
neuropsychological assessment for the design of individualized clinical
interventions. He is the author of several scientific publications, mostly in
international journals (Brain, Sleep, Movement Disorders, etc.), on research
topics in sleep disorders and clinical psychology, particularly on narcolepsy,
insomnia, REM sleep behavior disorders, restless legs syndrome, coping
strategies and sleep and adaptive behavior. He is a member of the following
scientific societies: the Italian Society of Sleep Medicine (AIMS) since 2005,
the European Sleep Research Society from 2005 to 2010, the Italian Society of
Psychology since 2019 and an honorary member of the Italian Association of
Narcoleptic and Hypersmonious Patients (AIN) since 2009. He has been a member
of the Disciplinary Board of Clinical Psychology since 2014. Since 2022, he has
been a member of the AIMS Executive Board and the Teaching Commission.
Alessandro Musetti is an Assistant Professor of Dynamic Psychology at the University of Parma. He has a degree in Behavioral
Sciences and Interpersonal and Social Relations (Bachelor's Degree) and in
Developmental Psychology: Educational, Social and Clinical Processes and
Contexts (Master's Degree). He is a psychologist who specializes in
group-analytic psychotherapy and a psychoanalyst from
the Italian Psychoanalytic Society (SPI) with a Ph.D. in Psychology. He has acquired the National
Scientific Qualification as an Associate Professor in Dynamic Psychology. Currently,
his main research topics concern the psychodynamic evaluation of problematic
uses of the internet and the relationship between attachment and
psychopathology. In 2023, he obtained funding for a PRIN project as the principal
investigator (PRIN2022LR399B). He is a member of the Board and acts as an editor
at numerous Italian and international journals.
