Dr. Ruslan V. Kutluyarov is currently Head of the School of Photonics Engineering and Research Advances (SPhERA) at Ufa State Aviation Technical University, Russia. He has been the Senior Researcher of the Ufa since 2014. He received his Candidate of Science in Telecommunication Systems, Networks and Devices from the Ufa State Aviation Technical University (2008–2013). His research interests are focused on the study of the few-mode optical fibers; nonlinear fiber optics; mode division multiplexing; orbital angular momentum; integrated photonics; optical sensors; and numerical photonics.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad A. Butt is a Professor
at the Politechnika Warszawska, Warsaw, Poland. He received a Ph.D. degree in
Material Sciences from Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain, in 2015. In 2013,
he had a research stay with the Optoelectronic Research Centre (ORC),
University of Southampton, U.K. In 2018, he was a Research Assistant Professor
at Nicolaus Copernicus University, Poland. From 2015 to 2020, he worked as a
Senior Scientist at Samara National Research University, Russia. Currently, he
works as a research team leader at the Warsaw University of Technology, Poland.
He has authored 150+ scientific publications and several book chapters. He
received a Rector’s Award in 2022 for his scientific contribution to the Warsaw
University of Technology. His research interests are optical waveguides,
plasmonic sensors, photonic sensors, diffractive optics, and optical filters.
