Victor Dyomin is a First Vice-Rector at National Research Tomsk
State University (TSU), Associate Professor at the Department of Optoelectronic
Systems, and Head of the Laboratory of Radiophysical and Optical Methods of
Environmental Research. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in optoelectronics from TSU in
1988. During the last 10 years, Professor Dyomin has been a PI and co-PI of
more than fifteen successful grant projects, with a total funding of over three
million USD. Professor Dyomin is a Senior Member of the Optica (former
Optical Society of America) and a Regular Member of IEEE, SPIE. He has authored
80+ journal papers, 44+ papers in Proceedings (SPIE, IEEE, OSA, etc.), 14
patents, and 2 textbooks and has made many invited presentations at national and
international conferences; his whole list of works includes more than 250
items. His scientific interests include optics, holography, digital holography,
underwater holography of plankton, and the methodology of education in optics.
