Michael John Nicholson is a current pulmonary and critical care fellow at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His educational background includes a BS in biology from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, New Jersey. He received his medical education at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey graduating with the degree Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed internal medicine residency at Bayonne Medical Center in Bayonne, New Jersey where he also served as a third-year chief resident. Danish Ahmad is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine. His educational background includes a BS in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Maryland (2003–2007) in College Park, Maryland, an MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland (2007–2011), a residency with the Internal Medicine Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (June 2011–June 2014), a fellowship with the Pulmonary Critical Care Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (July 2014–June 2017), and a fellowship with the Interventional Pulmonary Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri (July 2017–June 2018). His treatment focus includes lung cancer screening, pleural diseases, and pulmonary nodules.
