Wei-Ming Shi received his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Zhejiang University, in 1982, a Master’s degree in Science from the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Science, in 1985, and a Ph.D. in the same major and from the same institute in 1989. From 2002 until the present, he has been a full Professor, Ph.D. supervisor, and the Director of the Department of Soil-Plant Nutrition and Fertilizers, Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Science. His research interests mainly focus on plant nutritional genetics and molecular physiology, the relations between crop fertilizing and the
quality of agricultural products, and environmental pollution.
Dong-Wei Di has been an Associate Researcher at the Nanjing Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, since May 2022. He received his Bachelor’s degree at the School of Food and Biological Engineering, Hefei University of Technology, in 2010, and earned his Ph.D. at the School of Life Sciences, Lanzhou University, in 2015. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Nanjing Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2015–2019) and an Assistant Researcher (2019–2022).
