Zheming Liu is a PHD student at Harbin Institute Technology, China, and the visiting scholar at the Center for Sustainable Building Research, University of Minnesota, the United States. He is the lecturer and deputy director of the Architecture Department at the School of JiangHo Architecture, Northeastern University, China. He is currently undertaking a number of important national and international roles: (1) Member of the ‘Architectural Society of China’, the ‘Theory and Practice Learning Group of China Green Building Council’; (2) Youth Member of the ‘China Green Building Council of Chinese Society for Urban Studies’; (3) Deputy Secretary General of the ‘Architect Branch of the Liaoning Civil Engineering and Architecture Society’. To date, he has participated in five national-level research projects, including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Science and Technology Support Program; led three provincial and ministerial-level research projects; published several articles in SCI, SSCI and EI indexed journals as the first author or corresponding author; published one academic monograph; and gained one software copyright.
