Dr. Abdussalam Elhanashi is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa. He received an M.Sc. degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, and he obtained a PhD degree in Information Engineering from the University of Pisa. He has authored and co-authored several scientific articles in international conferences and journals. He is a member of the Institution of Engineering Technology Community (IET) and a member of IEEE. His research interests include deep learning, imaging processing, medical images, embedded systems, power optimization management and IoT devices.
Dr. Pierpaolo Dini is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa. He received a master’s degree in automation engineering and a Smart Industry PhD degree (Hons) from the University of Pisa. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at UNIPI. He collaborates in multiple European research projects focused on the development of advanced control and monitoring algorithms for mechatronic systems in industrial applications. His current research interests include control systems technology, advanced control theory, and innovative model-based design paradigms with applications in power electronics and electric drives.
Sergio Saponara is a full Professor of Electronics at the University of Pisa, where he is the President of the BS and MS degrees in Electronic Engineering. He is also the director of the summer school on Industrial IoT. He has been included in the World's Top 2% Scientists list by Stanford University.
QINGHE ZHENG is an Associate Professor at the Shandong Management University. He received B.E. degree from Xi’an University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2014. He received M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Shandong University in 2018 and 2022, respectively. He has co-authored about 50 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles and holds 11 patents. He is a member of IEEE and Guest Editors of several journals, including Sensors, Symmetry, and Electronics. He is also TPC member of some international academic conferences, including ICAML 2020, ICBTA 2020, BDMIP 2020, IVPAI 2020, ICCAES 2021, etc. His research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, deep learning, and edge computing.
