Malgorzata Grabarczyk is a Professor at the Institute of
Chemical Sciences, Department of Analytical Chemistry, Maria Curie-Skłodowska
University (UMCS, Lublin, Poland). She received her M.Sc. in Chemistry from
UMCS in 1993, her Ph.D. in Chemistry from UMCS in 2002 and her D.Sc. in
Chemistry (Habilitation) from UMCS in 2009. From 2016–2019, she worked as
Vice-Dean for matters of scientific research and cooperation with industry of
the Faculty of Chemistry at UMCS. From 2018, she acted as a Chair of the
Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry at UMCS. In 2019–2020,
she acted as deputy director of the Institute of Chemical Sciences, Faculty of
Chemistry at UMCS. From 2020, she acted as director of the Institute of
Chemical Sciences, Faculty of Chemistry at UMCS. Her research areas are
Electrochemical stripping analysis, Electrochemical sensors, Trace analysis,
and Speciation analysis. She was awarded the Medal of the Head of Lublin
Voivodship for women scientists of the higher schools in Lublin in 2011, the
Medal of the Commission of National Education in 2011, and the Silver Medal for
longtime service in 2016.
Marzena Fialek received an M.Sc. in chemistry from the
Faculty of Chemistry, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin in 2017. She
has been employed as an assistant at the Department of Analytical Chemistry and
Instrumental Analysis, Faculty of Chemistry, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University
in Lublin in 2018. She obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry from the Faculty of
Chemistry, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in 2021. Currently, she is an
assistant professor at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University.
