Dr. Georgios A. Kougioumtzis is an Adj. Assistant Professor in the Department of Turkish Studies and Modern Asian Studies, at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, in the field of Counseling, ICT, and Teaching Methodology,  a Visiting Professor in the School of Psychology, at Neapolis University Pafos, Cyprus, in the field of Counseling / Educational Psychology, and Specific Learning Difficulties, and a Visiting Academic in the School of Social Sciences, at Hellenic Open University, Patras, Greece, in the field of Psychology / Counseling. He has published – as a scientific editor, and co-author – twelve (12) books by IGI Global (USA) and Grigori Publications (Greece) in the fields of Educational Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Specific Learning Difficulties, and Teaching Methodology and ICT, and over two hundred (200) papers in Greek and English. He also has extensive experience in the management and coordination of national and transnational lifelong learning Projects. In addition, G. A. Kougioumtzis’ research activities cover the scientific fields of Counseling Psychology, Educational Psychology, Specific Learning Difficulties, Teaching Methodology and the Pedagogical Use of ICT. He is married and the father of three daughters.
