Dr. Anirban K. Mitra is an Associate Professor of Medical and Molecular Genetics at the Indiana University School of Medicine-Bloomington. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Mumbai in 2007 followed by postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago in Ovarian Cancer Biology. He is a Member of the Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, IUSM. His scientific interests are focused on the study of ovarian cancer metastasis and ovarian cancer relapse.
