Cheng-Hua Liu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Engineering and Science, Feng Chia University. He was a Postdoctoral Associate at the National Taiwan University (2019–2020). He achieved his B.S. in Soil and Environmental Sciences at the National Chung Hsing University, earned
his M.S. in Agricultural Chemistry at the National Taiwan University, and completed his Ph.D. studies in Crop and Soil Sciences; Environmental Science and Policy at Michigan State University. His expertise includes Environmental Soil Chemistry and Soil Physics; Environmental Application of Biochar; Soil
Carbon Sequestration; Sorption and Transport of Environmental Contaminants; Environmental
Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis.
Dr. Sambandam Anandan is a Professor at the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. He completed his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Madras in 2002. He also worked as a visiting professor in many foreign universities. For the past 25 years, he has been actively engaged in research and teaching in the area of Solar Energy and Nanomaterials. He has developed a new Laboratory (Nanomaterials & Solar Energy Conversion Lab) in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology, Trichy, into a full-fledged one to be recognized by national and international agencies for
research. His research work to date is largely multi-disciplinary, involving Nanomaterials, Sonochemistry, Photochemistry, Photocatalysis, Electrocatalysis, Fuel Cell Catalysts, Photosplitting of Water Molecules, Biomolecule Interactions, Sensors, Supercapacitors, OLED Applications and Organic, Inorganic & Polymer Solar Cells. He has 366 publications with 10782 citations and an h-index of 54 (Scopus, 23 October 2023). He has also delivered many invited lectures at different Institutes. He is a life member of the Catalysis Society of India, Indian Science Congress Association, Chemical Research Society of India, Indian Association of Solid State Chemists & Allied Scientists, and an active member of the Society for Advancement of Electrochemical Science and Technology (SAEST), India.
Jerry J. Wu is currently a Professor at the Department of Environmental Engineering and Science at Feng Chia University in Taiwan. He completed his PhD studies at Michigan State University in 1998. His research interests include ozonation and advanced oxidation processes for water and wastewater treatment, functional materials for sensors, energy, medical, biochemical, and environmental applications and analytical techniques for molecule substances and micropollutants. In addition, he is also interested in nanomaterials synthesis and photocatalysis applications, including decontamination, electrochemistry and hydrogen production from water splitting. He has 190 publications with 5508 citations and an h-index of 38 (Scopus, 23 October 2023). He is also serving as an editorial board member of the American Journal of Environmental Engineering.
