Roman J Nowicki is a Professor and Chairman at the Department
of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology, Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland.
He received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the Medical University of Gdańsk in 1982 and
1988, respectively. He was a Lecturer in Dermatology and the Head of Mycology
Laboratory, Department of Dermatology (1992–1996), an Assistant Professor at
the Department of Dermatology, Medical University of Gdańsk (1996–2003), an
Associate Professor (2003–2009), and he was promoted to Professor in 2009. He
is a member of the Polish Society of Allergology, the American Academy of
Dermatology, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the European Confederation
for Medical Mycology, and the International Society for Human and Animal Mycology.
Magdalena Lange is a Professor at the Department of
Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology, Faculty of Medicine, Medical
University of Gdańsk, Poland. She obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of
Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology, Medical University of Gdańsk. Her top
areas of expertise are Cutaneous Mastocytosis, Pediatric Mastocytosis, Mast Cell
Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Systemic Mastocytosis, and Anaphylaxis. She has
more than 119 publications with over 1556 citations and an h-index of 21
(Scopus, 20 November 2023).
