Angelo Valerio Marzano is a Full Professor at the Department of Pathophysiology and Transplantation, University of Milan. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Milan with an excellent score. After graduation, he received his medical training in dermatology at the University of Milan and became a board-certified specialist in dermatology. Since 2000, he has been working with the Unità Ospedaliera di Dermatologia della Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda-Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milano, where he worked as senior fellow and chief of the Dermatology inpatient ward. His current clinical and research interests are focused on immune-mediated, autoinflammatory, and systemic diseases, in which he has gained broad knowledge and internationally recognized expertise. He was Chairman of the “Italian Group of Immunodermatology” of the Italian Society of Dermatology (SIDEMAST). He has authored over 440 publications with a total citation of 9809 and an h-index of 50 (Scopus).
