Dr. Rodríguez-Pérez completed her PhD in Biomedical Sciences (area: Biochemistry) at the Institute of Cellular Physiology of the UNAM, receiving the degree of Doctor of Science in 2009. She completed a three-year postdoctoral stay in the area of signal transduction at the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA (USA). To date, she has published more than 10 research articles in international journals and has participated in more than 20 national and international conferences. She is currently a Researcher in Medical Sciences "C", in the Nanotechnology Laboratory of the Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía
