Daniele Giansanti received a
degree in Electronic Engineering from “La Sapienza” University in 1991 and a Ph.D.
in Telecommunications and Microelectronics Engineering from “Tor Vergata” University in 1997. He specializes in medical physics. He worked as a CAE-CAD System Manager and a Microsystems
Developer for eight years before joining the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory,
Istituto Superiore di Sanità (the National Health Institute) in 2000. He is a Professor at Sapienza and Cattolica in Rome in several courses and was the tutor of more than
110 theses. He is a Board Editor in several journals.
