Bruno Esteves is a Coordinator Professor of the Superior School of Technology and Management of Viseu belonging to the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu. He completed his MS studies in Chemical Engineering at the Engineering Faculty of Oporto University in 1995 and his Ph.D. studies in Environmental Engineering at the Superior Institute of Agronomy—Technical University of Lisbon in the field of modified wood in 2006. He has published 69 papers and has 3009 citations and an h-index of 20 (Scopus, 25 October 2023). His research topics mainly include: wood, chemical composition mechanical properties, and Lignocellulosic materials.
Dmitry Evtyugin has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Aveiro since 2011. He earned an MS at the Faculty of Chemical Technology (1985) and a Ph.D. at the Faculty of Chemical Technology (1989) at Leningrad Forest Technical Academy. He has published 280 papers and has 10,500 citations and an h-index of 55 (Google Scholar, 24 October 2023). His research topics mainly include: general problems of wood chemistry (structure and occurrence of macromolecular constituents in wood tissues), chemistry and technology of lignocellulosic, lignin chemistry, lignin-based polymers and composites, hybrid materials, catalysis, paper materials, and analytic tools for natural polymers.
