Dr. Timothy H Witney is a Reader in Molecular Imaging at King’s College London and a Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellow. His scientific interests are focused on the discovery and development of new PET and MR methods to image tumour metabolism, predict treatment response, and monitor the downstream effect of targeted therapeutics. He is the Secretary of the European Society for Molecular Imaging and Editor-in-Chief of npj Imaging.
Professor Gary Cook is affiliated with the Cancer Imaging Department at King's College London and Guy's and St Thomas' PET Centre at King’s College London. He trained in radiology and nuclear medicine in London, completing his MD in Quantitative 18F-fluoride PET in Metabolic Bone Diseases at King’s College London. He was appointed to the Chair of Molecular Imaging in the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences at KCL and as an honorary consultant physician at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 2011. His scientific interests are focused on the study of multimodality functional imaging of metabolic bone diseases and skeletal metastases, multi-parametric, multi-modality imaging biomarker development, measurement of tumour heterogeneity, and evaluation of novel tracers for oncological PET and SPECT applications.
