Dr. Gabriella Di Rosa is an Associate Professor in Child Neuropsychiatry and Director of the Child Neuropsychiatry Unit at Polyclinic Hospital University of Messina. In 2000, she obtained a Master’s degree in Medicine at the University of Messina with the highest mark cum laude. In 2006, she completed the Residency School in Child Neuropsychiatry with the highest mark cum laude at the University of Messina. In 2010, she obtained a PhD degree in Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Messina. From 2011 to 2017, she was a researcher in Child Neuropsychiatry, and since 2018, she has been an Associate Professor in Child Neuropsychiatry. Since 2021, she has been the Director of Child Neuropsychiatry Residency School and Director of the post-graduation school on Neuropsychomotor Therapy of Developmental Age at Polyclinic Hospital University of Messina. Since 2022, she has been the Director of Child Neuropsychiatry at Polyclinic Hospital University of Messina. In February 2023, she gained the national scientific qualification as a Full Professor in Child Neuropsychiatry.
Dr. Eloisa Gitto is a professor of Pediatrics at the University
of Messina. She is the director of the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care
Unit of the University Hospital of Messina. She received her medical degree at
the University of Messina and her research training at the UT Health Science
Center of San Antonio and the University of Chicago. In addition to research, she
teaches Pediatrics and Intensive Care Medicine to medical students and
postgraduate pediatric fellows. Her research interests include oxidative stress,
melatonin, neonatal and pediatric intensive care, and mechanical ventilation.
