Matteo Ferro is a professor at the Department of Urology, European Institute of Oncology, Milan, Italy. He has been a urologist at the division of urology in the European Institute of Oncology since May 2013. He
has been working with prostate cancer biomarkers and coordinates at the University of Naples Federico II, investigating the evaluation of p2Psa and Phi for the detection of prostate cancer at the initial biopsy stage for prostate cancer aggressiveness stratification (Grantor: Beckman Coulter, Inc 2012). He taught translational medicine at the University of Salerno in 2013 (PONa3_00138/F1). He is a member of the Italian Society of Urology, the Italian Society of Urologic Oncology, and the European Association of Urology. He has lectured at more than 70 national and international conferences.
Loreto Gesualdo is a Full Professor of Nephrology at Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro, Bari, Italy. He is also the President of the Italian Federation of Medical-Scientific Societies (FISM) and Scientific Director of the IRCCS Giovanni Paolo II. He has 20 years of Italian university experience, first at the University of Foggia, where he held numerous roles (Member of the Internal Evaluation Team, Research Delegate, President of the D.A.Re. Technological District and of the Ce.R.T.A. Technological Competence Center, Director of the Bioagromed Research Center, Director of the Intercompany Department for Assistance in Nephrology-DIAN) and subsequently at the University of Bari (President of the School of Medicine). He is among the Top Italian Scientists, Clinical Sciences macroarea, with an H-index of 90 and around 31,000 citations.
Prof. Michele Battaglia has been a Full Professor of Urology at the University of Bari, Bari, Italy since 2006. He is also Director of the Department of Emergency and Organ Transplant (DETO) and Chief of the Complex O.U. of Urology and Kidney Transplantation. To date, he has over 240 publications in international, peer-reviewed scientific journals, with more than 4800 citations (h-index = 42, in Scopus).
Prof. Giuseppe Lucarelli is Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Bari. He graduated with honors and specialized in Urology at the University of Bari. He received his Ph.D. in "Biotechnology Applied to Organ and Tissue Transplantation", also from the University of Bari. He was a Research Fellow at the Institute for Cancer Genetics at Columbia University in New York (USA) and Clinical Fellow at Fundaciò Puigvert in Barcelona (Spain), where he was interested in minimally invasive uro-oncologic surgery and kidney transplantation. He is a reviewer for 50 international journals and an editorial board member of 6 international journals.
