Dr. Maslennikov is an Associated Professor at Sechenov University, Moscow, Russia. Having received his MD degree from Russian State Medical University, he undertook his postgraduate training at the Clinic of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Hepatology of Sechenov University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2018 and became a professor at Sechenov University. His ongoing research interests are liver diseases and gut microbiota. He is a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer of several scientific journals and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles. He has a certificate of general practitioner, rheumatologist, and gastroenterologist.
