Steven LeVine, PhD, is a professor of Cell Biology and Physiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. His research is focused on diseases of the central nervous system, with particular emphasis on Alzheimer's disease and demyelinating diseases, i.e., multiple sclerosis and Krabbe's disease. His research is directed at advancing the understanding of pathogenic mechanisms and developing experimental therapeutic approaches.
