Slobodan Milenko Todorovic is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, USA. He received his Master’s degree from the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia, and his Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology from the University of Illinois School of Medicine, USA. He completed an internship in medicine at Northwestern School of Medicine as well as a residency in Neurology and Anesthesiology and a post-doc in Anesthesiology/Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine. He obtained a Mentored Clinical Scientist K08 Award. He discovered the role of T-type calcium channels in pain transmission. His research interests include the pharmacology and physiology of voltage-gated calcium channels in cellular mechanisms of anesthesia and analgesia.
