Renata Bączek-Kwinta is a professor at the University of Agriculture in Krakow, a plant physiologist, naturalist, and biochemist, and a university teacher of science.
She is a communicator, choosy reader, nature aficionado, and urban activist (occasionally).
Newest project: "Integrated approach to ecosystems protection against invasive alien plants in southern Poland – IAS/EcoSystemCARE"; 2011-2014 Project: “Biotechnological tools for breeding cereals with increased resistance to drought”(POLAPGEN-BD)”; 2010-2013 Project: “The exploitation of white cabbage for phytoremediation and biofumigation of soils”(AGROBIOKAP)”. The latter two projects were co-financed by the European Union in the framework of the Innovative Economy Operational Programme 2007-2013.
