Dr. Yaowei Fang is a professor at the College of Food Science and Engineering, Jiangsu Ocean University. He completed his PhD studies in Biotechnology at the Nanjing Agricultural University. He has been awarded the third prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Progress Award, the third prize of China Light Industry Federation Science and Technology Invention Award, the first prize of Jiangsu Light Industry Science and Technology Award, the third prize of Jiangsu Light Industry Science and Technology Award, the third prize of Jiangsu Light Industry Science and Technology Award. He has led the National Natural Science Foundation of China Project, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province Project, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Project, Major Project of Natural Science Research in Jiangsu Universities, Jiangsu Province "333 Project", Jiangsu Province Marine Science and Technology Innovation Project. He has published 21 papers including 7 papers in SCI and has 7 authorized national invention patents. He is engaged in the research of development and application of marine microorganisms and marine enzymes, biocatalytic reaction mechanism, application research, and recombinant synthesis of natural compounds.
Dr. Shu Liu is a professor at the College of Food Science and Engineering, Jiangsu Ocean University. She completed her PhD studies in Food Science & Technology at the Nanjing Agricultural University. She has been awarded the 2015 Jiangsu Province Light Industry Science and Technology Award Technology Invention Award, the 2020 Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Award, and the 2020 Advanced Individual of Jiangsu Ocean University’s “Three Educators”. She hosted and participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China general projects, Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects, Jiangsu Provincial College Natural Science Research Major Projects, Jiangsu Provincial “333 Project” projects, the 13th batch of Jiangsu Provincial “Six Talent Peaks” high-level projects more than 10 projects including talent projects. Her three national invention patents were authorized, and three were put into practical review. She has published nearly 70 research papers in various academic journals, including more than 20 SCI papers. She mainly engages in the development and application of marine microorganisms and marine enzymes, and research on the mechanism and application of biocatalytic reactions.
