Author Biographies

Girolamo Costanza is an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. He completed his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He has been a referee for the following international journals: Composites Science and Technology; International Journal of Material and Product Technology; International Journal of Fatigue; International Journal of Computational Materials Science and Surface Engineering; Sensors and Actuators A: Physical. Since 2002, he has been a member of the Ph.D. program in Industrial Engineering. His interests include shape memory alloys; metals; material characterization; smart materials; porous materials; and fatigue.
Dinesh Solaiyappan is a highly accomplished Mechanical Design Engineer and Head of the Warehouse Department at Quarrata Forniture S.r.l. He holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a Master's in Technology (Thermal Engineering) from Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, India. His expertise lies in aluminium honeycomb and foam materials, mechanical properties, MATLAB simulations, and robotics instrumentation. Dinesh is deeply passionate about innovative engineering solutions and continues to make significant contributions to the field.
Maria Elisa Tata is an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. She completed her Ph.D. studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata”, Italy. Her interests include metals and alloys; smart materials; mmc; shape memory alloys; metal foams; ti alloys; mechanical properties; materials characterization; heat treatments; and aluminium foams.
