Matea Nikolac Perkovic is an Assistant Professor at the Division
of Molecular Medicine, Rudjer Boskovic Institute. She received her MSc degree
in molecular biologist at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of
Zagreb, Zagreb in 2008. She finished her Ph.D. Studies in Molecular
Biosciences, University of Osijek, Osijek from 2010 to 2015. She is a member of
the Croatian Pharmacological Society, the Federation of European
Pharmacological Societies, the International Union of Basic and Clinical
Pharmacology, the Croatian Society for Neuroscience, the International Brain
Research Organization, and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies.
Prof. Dr. Ninoslav Mimica, MD, MSc, DSc, Primarius, IFAPA is a full professor of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb. Currently, he is a Head of the Department for Biological Psychiatry and Psychogeriatrics and Academic Lead at the University Psychiatric Hospital Vrapče in Zagreb. He is a subspecialist in biological psychiatry, social psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry. He is the president of the Croatian Association for Alzheimer’s Disease and Old Age Psychiatry, CroMA, and Vice-President of Alzheimer Croatia. On his initiative, the Croatian Alzheimer Alliance was established and now has 32 member societies/NGOs. He is an international fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a member and ambassador of the European Psychiatric Association, and a Croatian representative in Alzheimer’s Disease International and Alzheimer Europe. He is a court expert in the field of Psychiatry, with experience working for ICTY, Hague, The Netherlands. He was involved in translations of the ICD-10 Classification of Mental and Behavioural Disorders, DSM-IV, and DSM-5 into Croatian language. His expertise in various scientific fields such as biological psychiatry, adult psychiatry, old age psychiatry, and psychopharmacotherapy, including clinical trials, is supported by authored or co-authored, providing extended knowledge on matters of those scientific areas. For his scientific and professional work, he was rewarded several times.
Dubravka Svob Strac is an Associate Professor at the Laboratory
for Molecular Neuropsychiatry, Division of Molecular Medicine, Rudjer Boskovic
Institute, Zagreb, Croatia. She received her B.Sc. degree in Molecular Biology in
1998, an M.Sc. degree in Molecular and Cell Biology in 2004, and a Ph.D. degree in
Molecular and Cell Biology in 2007 at the Faculty of Science, University of
Zagreb, Croatia. She became a Specialist in Project Management at the Accredited
College of Business and Management, Zapresic, Croatia in 2011. She is a member
of the Croatian Pharmacological Society, Croatian Society for Biochemistry and
Molecular Biology, Croatian Biological Society, Croatian Society for
Neuroscience, and Croatian Laboratory Animal Science Association.
