Ahmad R. Heydari is a professor and chair at the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, Wayne State University, USA. He completed his Ph.D. studies in biological sciences at Illinois State University in 1990. He is a member of the Gerontological Society of America, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the American Society for Nutritional Sciences, and many other professional societies. His research interests include folate restriction, aging, and cancer.
