Zhe-Shan Quan is a Professor of the College of Pharmacy, Yanbian University, Yanji, China. He completed his Ph.D. studies at the Wonkwang University, Iksan-si, Republic of Korea in 2006. He had an Associate Professor position at Yanbian University (1997–2000), and he was a visiting scholar at Josai University, Tokyo, Japan (1997). He was promoted to Professor at Yanbian University in 2001. He has been engaged in medicinal chemistry teaching and scientific research, and his research focuses on the search and structure optimization of lead compounds.
