Yogen Singh is a consultant in Neonatology and Paediatric Cardiology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the UK—Consultant Neonatologist and with Expertise in Paediatric Cardiology. He is an Associate Lecturer at the School of Clinical Medicine, University of Cambridge, and also holds an Honorary Consultant position at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He has a special interest in neonatal and pediatric hemodynamics, point-of-care echocardiography, and advanced functional echocardiography imaging. He is passionate about point-of-care-ultrasound (POCUS)/functional echocardiography training for neonatal and pediatric intensivists so that it can be widely used while making clinical decisions in emergency situations. He is Chair for the ESPNIC Cardiovascular Dynamics (hemodynamics) section and co-chair for the ESPNIC POCUS working group. He is the lead author of the “Expert Consensus Statement onNeonatologist Performed Echocardiography (NPE): Training and Accreditation in the UK”.
Lynne E Nield is a Pediatric Cardiologist with expertise in Pediatric and Fetal Echocardiography. She graduated from Queens University Medical School in 1994. She carried out her Pediatrics Residency training in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia, and completed her Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto in 2000. She holds positions at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Michael Garron Hospital, and The Hospital for Sick Children. She has been a Senior Consultant for Médecins sans Frontières since 2016 and has expertise in cardiac POCUS and Telemedicine. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. She performs Clinical Research in the fields of Fetal Cardiology and Echocardiography.
