Ralf Buckley is the Emeritus International Chair in Ecotourism Research at Griffith University, Australia. His publications include 12 books and over 300 articles, including in Nature and Science. He has over 22,000 citations and an H index of 73. His principal research interests are in the interconnections between outdoor tourism and conservation of the natural environment and biodiversity, including the role of human mental health.
