Hossein Karami was born in Qom, Iran in 1991. He received his bachelor degree in aerospace engineering from K.N.Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, in 2014 and a master's degree in control engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy in 2018. He achieved his Ph.D. degree in bio-engineering and robotics at the University of Genoa, Italy in 2022. During his Ph.D., he conducted research activities mainly focused on human-robot collaboration, task allocation for multi-agent systems and task and motion planning problems for robotic systems. Dr-Ing Karami is currently a post-doc researcher working on rehabilitation robotics for lower-limb exoskeletons at Rehab Technologies INAIL-IIT Lab of Italian institute of Technology in Genoa, Italy. His research interests and activities revolve around autonomy solutions for lower-limb exoskeletons in assistive control strategies.
