Dr. Raj Kumar Arya is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, an M.Tech. from IIT Delhi, and a B.Tech. from HBTI Kanpur. With over 14 years of experience, he has significantly contributed to education and research. His research expertise lies in the diffusion and drying of thin film polymeric coatings, process engineering, and process modelling simulation. Dr. Arya has authored about 71 journal papers, secured two international patents, and contributed to 22 conference papers, 29 book chapters, and five books. He has also organized international conferences and edited three books for Wiley, De Gruyter, and Springers. Dr. Arya's teaching spans various subjects, including Computational Methods in Chemical Engineering, Transport Phenomena, Process Engineering, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Process Modeling and simulation, Chemical Process Calculations, and many more. He is passionate about mentoring students, guiding both master's and Ph.D. candidates. Additionally, Dr. Arya actively engages in academic events and conferences, exemplified by his role in organizing the International Chemical Engineering Conference 2021 (ICHEEC), celebrating "100 Glorious Years of Chemical Engineering & Technology." His journey in Chemical Engineering is marked by a commitment to research, education, and mentorship, making him a prominent figure in the field.
