Sang Hee Lee received his Ph.D. in Fermentation Biochemistry from Seoul National University in 1993. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1993–1995). In 1995, he moved to associate Professor at Youngdong
University and was promoted to Professor at Myongji University in 2003. His research topics mainly include Antimirobial Resistance, Carbapenem-Resistance, Structure-Based Drug Design, and Infectious Diseases.
