Author Biographies

Elena Zhbankova received the M.Sc. degree in Fundamental Informatics and Information Technologies from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), in 2022, where she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the Probability Theory and Cyber Security Department. Her research interests include wireless communications, mathematical modeling and performance analysis of 5G networks, teletraffic theory, and queuing theory.
Abdukodir Khakimov received a PhD degree from St. Petersburg University of Telecommunications in 2022. He is a graduate student at this university. Since 2019, he has been working as a junior researcher at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Telecommunications at the RUDN University. He is engaged in research on access and core technologies for 5G and 5G+ networks, in particular, the integration of MEC technology into distributed computing networks.
Ekaterina Markova received her M.Sc. degree in applied mathematics and Cand.Sc. (Ph.D. in Russia) degree in applied mathematics and computer sciences from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) in 2011 and 2015, respectively. Since 2012, she has worked at the Telecommunication Systems Department of RUDN University; she is currently an Associate Professor with the Probability Theory and Cyber Security Department at the RUDN University. She has co-authored multiple research works. Her current research interests include mathematical modelling and performance analysis of 5G networks, smart cities, spectrum sharing, multicast services, radio access, teletraffic theory, and queuing theory.
Yuliya Gaidamaka received a PhD in 2001 and a Full Doctor of Sciences degree in Mathematics from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) in 2017. She has been an associate professor since 2001, and is currently a professor in the university's Probability Theory and Cyber Security Department. She is the author of more than 200 scientific and conference papers, and is a co-author of three monographs on multiplicative solutions of finite Markov chains and matrix and analytical methods for performance analysis of wireless heterogeneous networks. Her current research focuses on performance analysis of 5G+ networks, queuing theory, mathematical modeling of communication networks including admission control, and radio resource management using artificial intelligence.
