Prof Kuan-Pin Su and his research team, the Mind-Body Interface Research Center (MBI-Lab), focus on Translational Brain Research, connecting bedside to bench with novel interdisciplinary approaches of AI technology, neuroimaging, genomics, randomized-controlled trials (RCTs), cellular and molecular biology. He integrates clinical significance (e.g. pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, phytochemicals, rTMS, and acupuncture) with investigations of basic sciences. Prof Su’s groundbreaking research has not only revolutionized the treatment guidelines for depression but has also pioneered the exciting field of nutritional psychiatry.Professor Su received his MD from the Kaohsiung Medical College, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and his PhD from the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, UK. He was the president of the Taiwan Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research (TSNPR), and a member of the Board of Directors, the International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids (ISSFAL). Shin-Da Lee currently is a professor and full-time teacher at the Department of Physical Therapy & Graduate Institute of Rehabilitation Science, China Medical University, Taiwan. He had a PhD from the Department of Physical Therapy & Exercise Science, State University of New York at Buffalo, the USA in 2001. He became an Assistant Professor in 2001, an Associate Professor in 2005, and became full Professor in 2008 at China Medical University. On 15.08.2008, he received Mr. Wu Dayou Memorial Award from the Ministry of Science and Technology. From 2008 to 2021, he was Professor at China Medical University, Taiwan. Between 2006 and 2021, he was Dean and Distinguished Professor, College of Medical and Health Sciences, Asia University, Taiwan. 2013-2020, he used to be the Honorary Dean and Honorary Chair Professor at the School of Rehabilitation Science, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shanghai, China. 2017-2020, he was the Honorary Dean at the School of Rehabilitation, Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shandong, China. From 2019 to now, he is the Honorary Dean at the School of Rehabilitation Science, Weifang Medical University, Shandong, China. His main research interests are Rehabilitation Science, Sleep/ Sleep Apnea/ Hypoxia, Research (Menopause), Obesity Research, Hypertension Research, Diabetes Research, Stroke, Rehabilitation Device Design, Exercise Research, and Rehabilitation Innovation.
