Gerasimos Siasos received his Medical Degree at the National
and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Medical School, Athens, Greece, his MSc
degree in Cardiovascular ICU with High Honors from the National and
Kapodistrian University of Athens, Medical School, his MSc degree in Health
Care Management, Hellenic Open University, Greece, and his Ph.D. degree in
Cardiology with High Honors from the National and Kapodistrian University of
Athens, Medical School. His postdoctoral training at the 1st Department of
Cardiology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Medical School in
Biological Chemistry and Cardiology. He’s certified in cardiovascular disease.
He has been Director of the Laboratory of Atherosclerosis at the National and
Kapodistrian University of Athens, Medical School, Hippokration General
Hospital since 2014, Director of the Biochemical, Immunological, and Molecular
Biology Unit, at Hippokration General Hospital since 2016, Director of the
Heart and Diabetes Clinic, at Hippokration General Hospital since 2018, Vice
Dean at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Medical School
since 2019, President of the University Hospitals “Aretaieion” and
“Aiginiteio”, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Medical School
since 2019.
