Dalia T. Abdeldaim received her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy in 2017 from Tanta University, Egypt. Then, she obtained her master’s in molecular biology from the universities of Ku Leuven and Vrije Universiteit, Brussels, and the University of Antwerp, Belgium, in 2019. Now, she is pursuing her PhD at the graduate school of cellular and biomedical sciences at Bern University, Switzerland. She is currently working as a PhD researcher at the institute of applied biotechnology at Biberach University of Applied Sciences, Germany, as part of the Bio2Brain H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Training Network (MSCA-ETN). Her research topics mainly include immunology, antibody engineering and intranasal biopharmaceuticals delivery.
Prof. Dr. Katharina Schindowski Zimmermann is a Full Professor of Molecular Pharmacology at the Biberach University of Applied Sciences, Germany. She completed her PhD studies in Pharmacology/Neurobiology at the University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and recently led the European projects 'N2B-patch' (www.n2b-patch.eu) and 'Bio2Brain' (www.bio2brain.eu), the DFG project 'OlfacMuc' and several industry cooperation projects. She has published over 30 papers and book chapters in various journals and books. Her teaching disciplines include Immunopharamacology and Antibody Engineering, Analytical Biochemistry and Assay Development, Biochemistry, Physiology, and seminars for Scientific Presentations and Modern Aspects of Antibody and Vaccine Production.
