Maria Pia Ferraz received a Bachelor’s Degree of Food Engineer in 1996, an ESB-UCP Ph.D. in Engineer Sciences in 2000, FEUP and INEB. Research concerning bone infection, biofilms and antibacterial materials since 2000 in INEB. Professor in Universidade Fernando Pessoa from 2000 to 2021. Since 2021, Professor in FEUP. She works in the areas of Medical and Health Sciences with an emphasis on Health Sciences and Engineering and Technology with an emphasis on Medical Engineering. In her professional activities, she has interacted with 318 collaborators and co-authors of scientific papers.
