Dr. Ng Wei Keat completed his Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering at the Universiti Sains Malaysia and holds a Master of Science in Materials Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer Engineering from the same institution. He has made notable contributions to the field through his research and publications. Dr. Ng has authored several impactful papers, including "Poly(lactic acid) for Sustainable Packaging Applications," "Plastics in 3D Printing," and "Hybridization of 5-nitroisatin and silver nanoparticles for boosting the antimicrobial performance of poly(lactic acid)/nanocellulose nanocomposite films." These publications have been featured in prestigious journals such as Reference Module in Materials Science and Materials Engineering, Food Packaging and Shelf Life, and Polymer-Plastics Technology and Materials. As a Research Assistant at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Dr. Ng actively participated in the development of biodegradable polymers. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the National University of Malaysia, Dr. Ng is engaged in the design of anion exchange membranes with high conductivity and high alkali stability. His research focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms and optimizing the performance of these membranes.
Wai Yin Wong received her PhD in Fuel Cell Engineering from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2014. She has worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Fuel Cell Institute, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, since 2016. Her research topics mainly include electrocatalysts ad ion exchange membranes for fuel cell and water electrolyzer-related applications.
